Spain
💡 On 2 October 1966, the Vicente Calderón Stadium was completed on the banks of the Manzanares in the Arganzuela district of Madrid, Spain, becoming the new home of Atlético Madrid. Originally called the Estadio Manzanares before being renamed for the club's long-serving president, the 54,907-seat stadium hosted the team until 2017, when it moved to Metropolitano Stadium and the old ground was later demolished.
